The man who was injured in a house explosion in Lafayette has died.
The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office yesterday said 68-year-old Leland Holden died from his injuries. He was the only person home when his house exploded Tuesday afternoon. He was rescued from the rubble and flown to a hospital in Milwaukee. Investigators say they don’t know what caused the explosion, but local firefighters are working with the State Fire Marshal to find a cause.
