The cause of a sinkhole in Eastern Wisconsin has been determined.
The Village of Whitefish Bay says a deep storm sewer failed, causing the seventy-foot-deep sinkhole. The hole opened on a walking path between Buckley Park and Big Bay Park. Temporary road closures and park access limitations could be coming as the Village finds a solution for the 90-year-old sewer.
