On Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 10:46pm, Deputies from the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Village of Fairchild for a stabbing incident involving one male victim and one suspect.
The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital. The victim is currently listed in stable condition. Authorities believe this was an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger. The suspect fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival and is described as being white, unknown sex, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask at the time of the incident.
