Someone mailed something to the NBC affiliate in Eau Claire.
Station managers at WEAU yesterday said someone mailed a suspicious substance to the station. That forced an evacuation, and brought Eau Claire firefighters rushing to the station. The substance turned out to be what firefighters are calling a ‘non-hazardous food substance.’ No one was hurt, and everything then returned to normal.
