The man charged with murdering his adopted sister in Janesville is found competent to stand trial.
Twenty-year-old Dayveon Lathrop is accused of killing the eight-year-old girl in their family home and hiding her body. The judge says he will go to trial after multiple competency exams were done. His bail was set at one-point-five-million dollars yesterday. He’ll be in court again June 7th.
