Senator Ron Johnson is telling Wisconsin Republicans they need to be united in their position on abortion.
Johnson spoke on Saturday at the state GOP convention in Appleton. He told the delegates in attendance that Democrats are going to turn the 2024 election into a “referendum on abortion.” Johnson acknowledged that “many people in this room do not like” what he’s saying, but “in the end, we have to win elections.”
