It was another big crowd for the Eau Claire Marathon.
Race organizers say 20 thousand people turned out for this year’s race. Not everyone ran, of course, there were plenty of people cheering on the runners. Race volunteer coordinator Abby Seipel says this was their biggest year yet. Nearly five thousand runners from across the country packed into Phoenix Park to test their endurance and skills.
