WI Middle Schooler Being Called a Hero

A Wisconsin eighth-grader is being called a hero for taking charge when his school bus driver fainted behind the wheel.

The Glendale-River Hills school district says Acie Holland saw his bus driver lose consciousness during the ride to school earlier this week.  Police say the bus was starting to veer into on-coming traffic, but Holland jumped up, got the driver’s foot off the gas pedal and then applied the brake.  The eighth-grader then called 911 and assured the younger kids on the bus that everything would be okay.
