Superintendent License Remains

School boards will still need to make sure the Superintendent is licensed after Governor Evers vetoed a bill repealing the requirement. 

The former principal and school district superintendent said he is vetoing the bill because it lacked standards to be eligible for hire.  Those supporting the bill believe the licensing requirements are too strict  in the state.
