The 2024 Badger State Spelling Bee took place yesterday.
Aiden Wijeyakulasuriya of Madison’s Blessed Sacrament took home the first place trophy. They will go to DC for the Scripps National Spelling Bee along with second place finisher Nethraa Muthupandiyaraja of Franklin’s Forest Park Middle School.
Before the event began, a tailgate was held with free hot dogs and brats.
