The mild winter has forced a change for the thousands of maple syrup makers in Wisconsin. Theresa Baroun, Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association explains.

She says the earlier time frame will not hurt the flavor. Wisconsin produces about 400-thousand gallons of maple syrup each year. It has big economic impact. Wisconsin ranks 4th in the nation in maple syrup production.
