The Eau Claire Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the downtown area of Eau Claire.
On arrival, Engine 2 and Battalion 1 found a detached garage on Main Street on fire with a second garage situated closely behind it. The fire was extinguished with minimal damage to the second garage. Crews searched both structures and worked to salvage items for the home owner.
No injuries were reported.
