Wisconsin cities are getting more than 138-million dollars for state roadways from the state Department of Transportation.
About 134-million will be shared between city, village, and town governments for transportation aids. Four-point-two million will go to 116 cities that qualify for addition funding to connect highways, and Milwaukee County will get the remainder of the money for expressway policing. This is the first quarterly payment local governments will get – this year they’ll get 536-million total.
