Eight Wisconsin harbor maintenance projects will be getting ten-million dollars from the state.
Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say the projects will help strengthen the state’s transportation network. Three-point-eight million will go to the City of Superior rebuild two dock walls, and Manitowoc will get more than 560-thousand to dredge the Manitowoc River. Other projects include adding cranes and stabilizing shorelines. Applications for the next round of Harbor Assistance Program grants are due on August 1st.
