Gambling Addiction Resources Available Ahead of Big Game

Officials with the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling say they expect this weekend’s Super Bowl to prompt more requests for help. 

Executive Director Rose Blozinski says the increased accessibility to sports betting through Native American casinos means more people are at-risk of developing a gambling addiction.  The WCPG says gamblers should avoid betting while feeling emotional and they should not place additional bets in an effort to make up for money that is already lost.  Anyone who needs help with a gambling addiction can contact the council AND CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.
