Lawmakers Address Childhood Obesity

Wisconsin lawmakers are looking to do something about childhood obesity this week.

An Assembly panel will hold a hearing Wednesday on the proposals that came from the Speakers’ Task Force On Childhood Obesity. They include two plans to spend about five million-dollars on childhood obesity prevention and management. There’s another plan that would require schools across the state to have at least three hours of physical activity per-week.
