The other young woman in the Slender Man case is due in court today to ask to go home.
Morgan Geyser’s attorneys are asking a judge in Waukesha County to release her from the state mental hospital where she’s been since 2018. She was sentenced to 40 years in the hospital after she and Anissa Weir nearly stabbed another friend to death back in 2014. Weir was released from the hospital back in 2021. Geyser’s lawyers say she’s been working on her mental health, and is no longer a threat.
