A speeding violation turns into a 5th OWI for a Hixton man.
Randall James Flick, 35 years of age, from Hixton has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On Sunday, January 28, 2024, at approximately 12:51 AM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop on WIS 95 in the city of Hixton for a speed violation.
The Trooper observed signs of impairment and a subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety test, showed the driver, Randall James Flick from Hixton, WI, was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant 5th offense. Mr. Flick was arrested and transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood and then to the Jackson County Jail.
