Price County Sheriff Brian Schmidt reports that on January 27, 2024, during the early morning hours, the Price County Sheriff’s Office found two people deceased in the Township of Elk.
There is no risk to the public. The investigation is being conducted by the Price County Sheriff’s Office. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of family. As the investigation continues, further details will be provided.
Responding agencies included the Price County Sheriff’s Office, Price County Coroner’s Office, Park Falls Police Department, Phillips Police Department, and Central Price County Ambulance Service.
