People in Eau Claire are going to pay more for water starting next month.
The city council this week approved an eight percent water rate increase. There is currently no information of just how much of that increase will go to pay for water line repairs and how much will go to pay raises. The city council also agreed to keep the city’s fireworks show at the High Bridge this year.
