WI Sees Record Conservation Project

One of the largest conservation efforts in Wisconsin history has been approved.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers says nearly 55-thousand acres of Northeastern Wisconsin’s Pelican River Forest will be part of an easement. That means a total of 67-thousand acres of the park will be state-protected property. The land will remain open to the public for recreation, hiking, hunting, and more.
