Vice President Kamala Harris is calling the authors of the Wisconsin GOP Abortion bill “extremists.”
The newly proposed legislation would ban abortions after 14 weeks with medical emergency exceptions, and would shorten the time frame for legal abortions by six weeks. Harris says the bill is an “attack on reproductive freedoms.” The Vice President is scheduled to be in Waukesha on Monday for the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the abortion ruling that was overturned by the Republican-led Supreme Court in 2022.
