It looks like Milwaukee’s casino will continue to grow.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel yesterday reported that the Potawatomi Casino plans for a new, six-thousand-seat concert venue. The project is expected to cost at least 200 million-dollars. Potawatomi managers didn’t comment on the report, but sources close to the project say the idea is to break ground early next year. Potawatomi recently closed its concert theater to make room for a new sports book. The new concert venue would not be connected to the casino, rather it would be built a few blocks away on land that Potawatomi bought back in 2015. If built, the new concert venue would be a competitor to Milwaukee’s other theaters and concert spots.
