Ready to Rock…efeller?

If you haven’t made it to Rockefeller Center yet to see this year’s Christmas tree, there’s still time.

The 80 foot Norway Spruce, donated by a family in Upstate New York, will remain in Rockefeller Plaza for three more weeks, lit between the hours of 5 am and midnight. Then on January 13th, at 10 pm sharp, work crews will remove the ornaments including the 900-pound Swarovski star used as a tree topper. The 12-ton tree will be recycled, as it is every year, its lumber used by Habitat for Humanity to build homes for the underprivileged.
