Police in Wausau say they used a drone to find a man who’d fallen through the ice on the Wisconsin River.
It happened on the river near Bluegill Bay County Park in Rib Mountain. Police say the man was originally spotted trying to climb the fence to get into the Wausau Downtown Airport. He then ran across the airport’s field, into some woods, and then fell into the river. Police say the drone helped them pinpoint the man, then launch a boat and a crew to pull him out of the water.
