A woman is dead after a wreck in Vernon County.
It happened Friday in the town of Bergen. Vernon County deputies say 47-year-old Laurel Wicks drove her car into the back of a dump truck that was turning into a driveway. She died on the scene. Wicks is from South Dakota, but used to live in La Crosse.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate.
