Plot Thickens in WI Library Book Plan

Wisconsin lawmakers are looking to make sure parents know what their kids are reading at the school library.

A Senate panel is set to hear the plan next week. The idea, supporters say, is to have school libraries tell parents within 24 hours what books their kids have checked-out. The plan would also allow parents to ask to see everything that their child has read at the school library. The proposal would only apply to kids 16 and under.
