Early Deer Harvest Numbers Expected Today

We’re going to get a look at the numbers from the first weekend of deer season later today.

The Department of Natural Resources has a news conference scheduled for 11 a.m. to talk about the first weekend of gun season. The DNR last week warned that this year’s harvest numbers could be down because of the warmer weather and the lack of snow cover. Last year, hunters in Wisconsin bagged over 203 thousand deer.
