A record-breaking 65-million dollars will be given to Wisconsin public schools from the Common School Fund in 2024.
That’s 25-percent higher than 2023. In a press release, the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands says the money will go to school libraries for new books, technology, and other educational materials. She says more than 90-percent of public school libraries depend on money from the CSF as their only source of funding.
