The new name for the Universities of Wisconsin is just the beginning for the UW’s rebranding.
University President Jay Rothman told a Madison TV station that the university needs to ‘reposition’ itself. Rothman didn’t get into specifics, but said the school will become ‘consumer-focused.’ That, Rothman says, will mean millions of dollars in new investments. Rothman does say that the re-brand will take time and that process is underway.
