New Helipad to Serve Our Rural Areas

The new helipad for rural Rusk and Chippewa counties is now open.

Leaders cut the ribbon yesterday on the landing area in Lake Holcombe. Town of Lake Holcombe Chairman Brian Guthman says the new helipad will allow paramedics to get to rural parts of the two counties much faster. Crews started work on the new helipad back in June, they will have some minor touch-ups to add come the spring. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE WITH WEAU 13 NEWS.
