Task Force Would Focus on Missing And Murdered Black Women

Wisconsin lawmakers are considering a proposal for a task force focusing on missing and murdered Black women.

CDC data says Black woman only make up 12-point-four percent of Wisconsin’s population, and 13-point-nine percent nationwide. But 36-percent of missing women in the U-S are Black. State Senator Jesse James of Altoona says the proposed task force would focus on the reasons behind those numbers.
