An Illinois man is heading to prison for decades for shooting and wounding a Kenosha County police dog back in 2021.
A judge yesterday sentenced Allan Brown to 59 years in prison. Brown was a convicted felon who was wanted in connection to a carjacking and killing in Chicago. Kenosha County deputies spotted him at a gas station in Bristol. After some talking, Brown ran, the deputies released the police dog, and a chase ensued. During the chase, Brown shot K9 Riggs in the head. The dog would eventually recover, and is doing well today.
