Brewer fans aren’t feeling much love for Craig Counsell after he decided to take a new managing job with the Chicago Cubs.
Counsell yesterday made the surprise announcement. The Cubs will reportedly pay him about eight million-dollars a-year to take over their team. Brewers’ owner Mark Attanasio says he could never finish the deal with Counsell, even though he wanted him to stay. Attanasio says Counsell has “lost us, and lost our community.”
