Shannon Sharpe is no longer facing a lawsuit from Brett Favre over what Sharpe said about the Mississippi welfare fraud case that has Favre looking at tough questions.
A federal judge this week dismissed Favre’s lawsuit against Sharpe. Sharpe said Favre ‘stole’ money from people who needed it. Favre is a part of an investigation into millions of dollars that were misspent by Mississippi’s welfare agency. He’s accused of taking money for speeches he never gave, and for helping direct some of that money toward his daughter’s university for a new volleyball court.
