A judge has banned the man who showed-up at the Capitol with a pair of guns from returning to the statehouse.
Joshua Pleasnicck pleaded not guilty yesterday to misdemeanor weapons charges after he brought a pistol, then a rifle to the Capitol earlier this month in an attempt to talk to Governor Evers. Pleasnick’s lawyer yesterday says there’s a narrative that he wanted to harm the governor, he said that’s not true. Still, the judge has banned Pleasnick from the Capitol Square, and ordered him to stay one thousand feet away from the governor and his family.
Pleasnick was released from jail yesterday on a signature bond.
