Lawmakers at the Wisconsin Capitol are expected to approve a handful of proposed laws that would deal with trans athletes, and gender affirming care.
The Wisconsin Assembly is scheduled to vote later today on one plan that would declare girls sports in high school for biological girls only. Another plan would do the same at UW schools. The Assembly is also expected to approve a ban on gender affirming care for children. Democrats at the Wisconsin Capitol have already lined up against all three plans, calling them all anti-trans. Governor Evers has made it clear he will not sign the plans into law if they make it to his desk.
