Chippewa County’s sheriff is going to have the opportunity to tell his side of the story about that investigation into his behavior.
Sheriff Travis Hakes will have an opportunity to speak to the County Board at tonight’s meeting. The county is still reviewing the investigation that looked into claims that Hakes shared memes with a 911 dispatcher, and was ‘a loose cannon’ on the job. Hakes says the investigation is purely political, and has said he’s done nothing wrong.
