The Badgers shook off a slow first half to put away Georgia Southern, 35-14 Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
The Wisconsin defense intercepted five passes and lit up the scoreboard with 28 second points, including 21 in the third quarter. The Badgers’ Braelon Allen and Tanner Mordecai each rushed two touchdowns and Chez Mellusi ran for a score as well. The win moves Wisconsin to 2-and-1. They Badgers open Big Ten Conference play Friday night at Purdue.
