Madison is looking to change the rules for pigs in the city.
The Common Council is expected to vote on new rules that would allow people to own one pig, as long as it is vaccinated and neutered, inside the city limits. The move comes after a couple of pig owners were told they had to get rid of their pet swine. Madison’s Board of Health approved the changes last week, and recommended that the Common Council do the same.
