Family members who lost loved ones in the 9-11 terror attacks will be gathering at the World Trade Center Memorial in Manhattan for the 22nd anniversary of the attacks today. Scott Pringle reports.
Locally, Eau Claire’s VFW reopened to remember 9/11. There was a crowd at the VFW Post 305 yesterday to remember the fallen, and to honor the first responders on the job here in Eau Claire.
VFW president Martha Mae Kottschade says the community should say thank you everyday, but she said she’s happy they could have a ceremony yesterday to mark the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
