It’s apparently dragonfly season in southeast Wisconsin.
People say they are seeing swarms of the bugs in their yards each day. Mequon Nature Preserve manager Jamie Schiesel says it’s natural, and actually quite a good thing. Schiesel says this is the time of year when dragonflies migrate. He says the dragonflies are also eating other bugs, namely mosquitoes. Schiesel says the dragonflies will probably be with use until the first frost of the fall.
