It could soon cost you a thousand bucks if you don’t stop for a school bus in Wisconsin.
Lawmakers are looking at a plan that hikes up the fine for not stopping for stopped buses. Right now the fine ranges between 30 and 300 dollars. Lawmakers want to increase that to between three-hundred and a-thousand dollars. The new plan would also add three demerit points against anyone convicted of not stopping for the bus.
