Some folks are upset with the plan for a new hotel near Lambeau Field.
Dozens of people turned out at a public meeting in Ashwaubenon yesterday to oppose the design for the new Cambria Hotel & Suites. Planners want to build the new hotel on Oneida Street, just a few blocks south of the stadium. Neighbors say the hotel will be too tall, potentially have too many people, and force some neighbors out. The plans call for a 100-room hotel with a roof deck. The hope is to get the hotel built in time for the NFL Draft, which is coming to Green Bay in 2025.
