Wisconsin’s day of potential record-breaking heat is here.
The National Weather Service has issued a patchwork of Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories for pretty much the entire state today. The Excessive Heat Warnings stretch from Milwaukee to the Minnesota state line. Folks in Green Bay and parts of the Northwoods are simply looking at a Heat Advisory. Forecasters say some people could see triple-digit temperature, and the heat index will make it feel even hotter. Tomorrow will be nearly as hot. But the Weather Service says most of Wisconsin should see temperatures in the 70s by the weekend.
