Some of the evidence in Lily Peters’ murder is being excluded from next month’s hearing on whether the case will go to adult court.
A judge yesterday said prosecutors cannot show pictures of Peters’ autopsy or the crime scene at the hearing. The judge also banned prosecutors from talking about Peters’ character or her personal history. The judge did not rule on whether prosecutors can introduce the medical examiners’ report that suggests the suspect killed Peters so he could sexually assault her. The suspect, known only by his initials, was 14-years-old when police say he killed Peters last year.
