DNR “Tackles” Case of Missing Fish

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is asking for community help with a particularly “fishy crime.”

An extremely rare brood Brown Trout stock was stolen from the St. Croix Falls State Fish Hatchery in June. The D-N-R says the trout are only found in one out of three-hundred-thousand  —  making them more than just another fish in the sea.  Multiple other sea creatures were also reported injured.
