The state of Wisconsin is going to open-up the floor for comments on the future of I-794.
Wis-DOT says it will hold two public meetings next month to talk about the plans for the interstate through Milwaukee, and what to do about the roads between the Hoan Bridge and the Milwaukee River. Some people in Milwaukee want to tear up the interstate and make those roads local, while others simply want to improve the existing highway. The meetings are scheduled for August 1st and 2nd.
