Strike on Tap at Local Brewery

News | July 11, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy
Strike on Tap at Local Brewery

There’s a strike at the Leinenkugel’s Brewery in Chippewa Falls. Some of the plant’s workers walked off the job yesterday morning.

The local Teamsters union says the goal is more money in their new contract. A Leinie’s rep says the company has made ‘a competitive offer.’ The brewery doesn’t expect the strike to disrupt the flow of beer. This is the first strike at Leinenkugel’s since the 1980s.
