The latest report from Wisconsin’s broadband task force sets its sights on even faster internet.
Governor Evers’ Task Force on Broadband Access released its third report yesterday. Part of the report is an update on the work to bring faster internet to more people in the state, the other half is a list of goals for the future. The task force continues to want to deliver internet with 25 megabits of download speed by 2025. But the new report also sets the goal of 100 megabits by 2028. To do that, the report says Wisconsin will need a lot more money and some technical changes to move construction along.
